Trans Atlantic Systems Goes Back To School

On March 27-28, 2007, The Honorable Shirley C. Franklin and the Office of Constituent Services for the City of Atlanta held its 25th Annual Dream Jamboree, at Turner Field. Dream Jamboree is a two-day exploration of educational and training opportunities available to high school students and designed to prepare them for careers in the new millennium. The Jamboree was attended by thousands of middle school, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students from the Atlanta Public Schools and metropolitan Atlanta area schools. The Jamboree allowed students to meet representatives from various colleges, universities, and corporations across the country and to explore a myriad of potential careers.

Trans Atlantic Systems participated in the two-day event. Director of Public Relations, (Chrissy Mason-Grant) had the opportunity to meet and speak with students from Grady High School, North Atlanta and Washington about Technology& Transaction Processing. "The Student's were really amazed, about transaction processing, and what we do as a company. With one swipe of their parents credit card money goes through a lot of channels and they didn't realize the role that software plays in making it all happen."
