Industry Practices are adopted & implemented in our IT services / IT Practices based on our experience in working with multiple clients in certain industries and as the result of conscious strategic decisions. We have invested time and effort to acquire additional domain knowledge through independent research, partnership agreements, and long-term association with clients. Vertical ‘Industry Practices’ include ‘Semiconductor’ and ‘Financial Services’, ‘Healthcare’ and ‘Telecom’ functions.


Transaction processing

We have leveraged its strength in ‘Internet & e-business’ practice as well as ‘Document / Knowledge Management’ practices, augmented by strategic alliances to effectively address this vertical. For example, recently we acquired a comprehensive software package (known as “Mississippi”) for general insurance processing, developed by National Information Technology Co. (NITC), Sultanate of Oman. Trans Atlantic Systems has made this software fully operational and we are working on further re-engineering of the technology and functionality. We plan to initially market this package with country-based customization to India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, UK, Europe and African clients, where there is huge potential for this package. We also seek US insurance clients who might be interested in sponsoring adaptation of this package for the US insurance market.
